パク・ソジュン、5年ぶりにお茶の間にカムバック…「明日はきっと」制作発表会に出席
Park Seo Jun returns to the small screen after 5 years... Attending the press conference for ”Tomorrow Will Be Different”
Actor Park Seo Jun transforms into an entertainment reporter and plays a romantic partner with Won Ji An. On the 4th, JTBC's Friday Night Live was held at The Link Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul.
Director Lim Hyun-wook, Park Seo Jun, and Won Ji An attended the production presentation for the Saturday TV series "Tomorrow Will Be Different," lighting up the venue.
"Tomorrow Will Be Different" is a story about the adultery scandal of Lee Kyung-do and Seo Ji-woo, who dated twice in their 20s and broke up.
It is a romance TV series in which a reporter who reported on the scandal reunites with the wife of the scandal protagonist and falls deeply in love with each other.
He described her as "a person who is more consistent in character than in his profession," and "a pure, sensitive, kind and compassionate person who is also decisive."
Director Lim also emphasized, "The incident begins with an incident that he has to experience as an entertainment reporter."
When dealing with professions, sometimes the public can relate to the story, but sometimes the public can relate to the story. If Kyung-do was not a reporter in the entertainment department, he would not have been able to handle the case, and when he reunites with Ji-woo,
"It's special that I can't do that," he explained. Park Seo Jun will be making his comeback to a TV series for the first time in five years since "Itaewon Class" on the same broadcasting company, JTBC.
I've been working on PR projects recently, and that's when I realized how much time has passed." He added, "When expressing the character, I feel a sense of pressure because I want to do better.
I do feel that way, but I think the outcome is outside my realm, so I tried my best to portray the character of Kyung-do as delicately as possible. It's a story that could happen in real life, and I think there are parts that people can relate to.
I think a lot of people will enjoy it," he said confidently. Park Seo Jun, who plays characters ranging in age from their 20s to their 40s in the play, said, "I read the script and adjusted the age of the character.
I thought it was a stretch, but I suggested that he start acting at age 20." He continued, "I thought it was important to have a story that continues from when he was 20," and "If I didn't do that, this TV series wouldn't be completed.
Of course, the scenes when I was 20 were very stressful," he said with a laugh. Park Seo Jun also expressed satisfaction with his chemistry with Won Ji An. "This genre is a man-woman relationship, so I think it's important to have a good relationship with the main character.
The public has to lead the TV series, and it's not something that can be done by just me working hard," he said. "Only I can express the character of Kyung-do, and the character of Ji-woo is someone JeeAn can portray.
"Only she can express herself, so I relied on her and tried very hard to create good scenes," he recalled. The actual age difference between the two is 11 years. Park Seo Jun said, "At first, it was a burden.
"I was very worried before the show. I thought there would be differences in external aspects as well," he said. "But when I met and talked with him, he seemed very mature. When I saw him speaking at the production presentation, I got the impression that he has a lot of experience and is used to it."
"Thanks to that, the burden has been lightened," she said. She also joked, "I tried my best to lift my skin even a little," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, JTBC's "Tomorrow Will Be Different" will begin airing in Korea on the 6th at 10:40 pm.
