Actor Lee Yi Kyung won the Best Choice Award at the Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA). He began by expressing his gratitude to those around him, saying, "Thank you for the festival."
"It may not suit my taste, but I'll be bold and say that recently I've had the sensation of being hit by hail, something that's not in the weather forecast," he said in a comment to Private Life Affair.
He added, "The suspect has sent emails to our company asking for an apology and leniency. We will definitely catch him."
"I'm off on Thursday. I want to see Haha hyung and Woojae hyung," he added. Lee Yi Kyung recently left the show "What Would You Do If You Were Filming?", but he mentioned Haha and Joo Woojae.
Recently, Lee Yi Kyung was asked about an affair about her private life by a netizen named A who claims to be German.
Last month, Mr. A claimed on Naver Blog and X that Lee Yi Kyung had previously asked for photos of his body and used various abusive and vulgar language.
The management office stated that the allegations were groundless, but Mr. A countered by saying, "We are trying to gather evidence." Then, he suddenly said, "It was just a joke at first.
"I never thought that the article I started writing would attract so much attention. As I continued writing and using AI photos, I gradually began to think that it was true," he said, adding that it was all a joke.
He continued to assert that "all the evidence was genuine," and changed his stance several times. In the process, Lee Yi Kyung's image was seriously damaged, and she was forced to resign from her regular spot on MBC.
He also decided to step down from "What Would You Do If You Were Filming?". During the broadcast at the time, Yu Jae Suk said about Lee Yi Kyung's departure, "He is stepping down because he is busy with TV series and film schedules.
