Kim Jun Su (Xia) School in Pusat, Cambodia, which was built in 2011 with the support of Kim Jun Su (Xia) and has been operated since then with the continuous support of Adora Korea, has recently expanded due to the increase in the number of students.
As a result, there was a shortage of classrooms and the facilities were dilapidated over time, which caused difficulties. In response, Adora Korea opened a new school in June last year to make up for the shortage of classroom space.
The space that had been used as a library was converted into classrooms, and instead a new library and toilets were built. In addition, play equipment was installed and the exterior walls of the old school building were repainted to make the children more comfortable.
In order to allow students to study in a comfortable environment, a donation box was set up at Naver's Happy Bin bar. Jun Su (Xia)'s fans, who heard the news on social media, immediately participated and made the planned donations.
We raised 101% of the total amount and finished the fundraising. We were able to expand the library, add a portable toilet and three regular toilets, and even completed the repair of the school's exterior walls. We also provided desks and other items that were needed in the library and school.
Kim Ik-hyuk, Secretary General of Adra Korea, said, "After all, it's the fans who are the stars," and expressed his gratitude to the Jujutsu Kaisen, who have been donating to Adra Korea continuously.
Following the donations, Jun Su (Xia)'s fans also expressed their gratitude for being an example of a beautiful fandom culture and spreading positive influence through their continued donations.
Jun Su (Xia) School principal Phok Sareon also spoke at the completion ceremony of the expansion project, saying, "Thanks to this, students can now study in a safer and more comfortable environment.
I will remember the positive influence of artists and fans, and do my best to educate my children so that they will grow up to be people who can spread this positive influence in the future."
