The first Korean film to depict the turbulent survival story of Koreans in Bogota, Colombia, "Bogota: The Land of Last Chances" has been confirmed for release in Korea on December 31st, and a teaser trailer has been released.
The trailer and the first press stills have been released. "Bogota: The Land of Last Chance" is about Cookie (Jackie), who heads to Bogota, Colombia, on the other side of the world, with new hope, right after the Korean currency crisis.
The film tells the story of how the Korean leader (Song Joong Ki) becomes entangled with the powerful men of the Korean community in Bogota, Suyeong (Lee Hee Jun) and Sergeant Park (Kwon Hea Hyo).
The teaser version catches the eye by showcasing the exotic scenery and unique atmosphere that is unique to Colombia.
After the Korean currency crisis, Kukki lost everything and went to Colombia, where he entered the smuggling market.
The harsh journey hints at a daunting journey, stimulating curiosity. The teaser features the exploits of Suyeong, a customs broker who skillfully bribes customs soldiers to show his influence, and Sergeant Park, the real power behind the Korean smuggling market.
In particular, the scene where Cooki alludes to the challenge of climbing to the top of the 6th district of Bogota and the copy "The last place chosen by a life without hope" are the most powerful lines in the film.
The accompanying stills vividly portray Koreans in Bogota struggling to survive in a strange land.
The anxious appearance of Kukki's family when they first arrive in Bogota, Kukki's cold charisma, and Suyeong's relaxed appearance as he perfectly adapts to the unique South American atmosphere are all eye-catching.
Along with the intense gaze of Sergeant Park, who has taken control of Korean society, still images of his nephew, the little CEO Park (Park Ji Hwan), and the unique Jae Woong (Cho Hyun Chul) are also very character-rich.
The film features a reliable cast of actors, including Song Joong Ki, Lee Hee Jun, Kwon Hea Hyo, Park Ji Hwan, Jo Hyun Chul, and Kim Jung Soo.
The highly immersive acting of the cast is drawing much attention. "Bogota: The Land of Last Chance," which depicts the dramatic lives of these men as they rush toward new hope in a distant foreign land, will be released in Korea on December 31.
It will be released later.
