BTS' RM promoted to corporal: ”Next rank is civilian...I want to go back to Kim Nam Jun”

BTS member RM (real name Kim Nam Jun), who is currently serving in the military, has announced that he has been promoted to sergeant. On the 1st, RM announced on his Instagram story that he had been promoted to sergeant.
In the photo, RM is seen taking a selfie in his military uniform, looking dignified. His longer hair and stronger aura are catching the attention of fans.
He also shared his thoughts on the four months leading up to Discharge on the fan community Weverse.
"Dear friends, did you enjoy your Lunar New Year?
Did you eat it? I don't know what I did, I'm already 32 years old in Korean age," he said, and continued, "I became a corporal, Kim Nam Jun. Everyone was promoted early, so there were four of us.
"We'll all become corporals. I'm very excited, but my military life is just beginning. But I'm very happy that my next rank will be civilian," he said jokingly.
RM's discharge date is June 10th.
