Mnet's global boy band creation project "BOYS II PLANET" successfully completed the first round of recruitment with a high application rate from over 105 countries and regions around the world.
"BOYS II PLANET" is a program run by Mnet, the top channel in the audition trend, in which two K-POP groups are auditioned in two different languages.
It is the world's first K-POP twin project to produce a national audition program. Based on the same format and worldview, "BOYS II PLANET K" and "BOYS
II PLANET C" will be produced and broadcast simultaneously, and the final debut teams are expected to be born.
"BOYS II PLANET," which was unveiled for the first time through the "BOYS II PLANET" awards, received an explosive response from the first round of applications.
Applications poured in from over 105 countries and regions around the world. This is the result of the collaboration with BO, which gave birth to ZERO BASE ONE, the fifth generation of boy bands in K-POP.
Compared to YS PLANET, the number of applicants was more than twice as high, proving the popularity of "BOYS II PLANET."
The second round of auditions for "ONLY ONE" for "PLANET" is open to boys born before January 1, 2012 who are interested in singing, rapping, or dancing, regardless of nationality.
Anyone can apply, regardless of their gender. For applicants for "BOYS II PLANET C," local global auditions will also be held in eight Asian regions.
