This is a touching family film that depicts the process of moving forward through time and finding hope. It stars Yoo Seung-ho, Kim Dong-wook, and Seo Jeongyeon.
Director Kim Seung Soo, Jang Chan-yang, and others attended the script reading session held in Sangam-dong, Seoul in November last year.
The producer, along with the lead actors Yoo Seung-ho, Kim Dong-wook, and Seo Jeongyeon, attended the event. The three actors delivered passionate performances that were reminiscent of the actual filming site.
Even though it was their first time acting together, they showed perfect chemistry and received applause from the staff on set.
First, Yoo Seungho perfectly portrayed the role of Taeha, the son who becomes more mature as he sees his mother off for the last time.
He participated in the production of the OST (original soundtrack) for the movie "3 Days." Kim Dong-Wook plays a mysterious funeral master who leads a special funeral.
Seo Jeongyeon, who plays Joohee, is expected to bring tears to the audience's eyes as she portrays a warm-hearted mother.
Director Kim Seung Soo, who directed this film for the first time, said, "To those who are grieving over the death, I want to tell you that death is not necessarily the end.
"I wanted to convey the message that there is no such thing as a funeral," he said, "It is a work that depicts the process by which those left behind can overcome their grief and find hope to stand up again over the course of three days of a funeral."
"I hope this film will be a small comfort to many people," he said. The short film "3 Days" is raising expectations by releasing stills photos from the script reading session.
It is scheduled to be released exclusively at CGV in March.
