Singer and actress HYERI (Girl's Day) has donated 50 million won to help with forest fire recovery efforts.
On the 26th, the Hopebridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that "HYERI will be in Ulsan.
"We have donated 50 million won to help with the recovery efforts following the forest fires in North Gyeongsang Province and South Gyeongsang Province," the company said.
HYERI said, "After hearing the news that the wildfires were spreading, we decided to donate to help those affected by the disaster. We hope that our neighbors can recover as soon as possible."
"I sincerely hope that a peaceful daily life can be restored," he said. HYERI has been involved in various disasters, large and small, since donating funds to the Daegu fire victims in 2016, and the East Coast wildfires in 2022.

The fire has spread to Yeongyang and Yeongdeok counties. The death toll from the forest fire was 22 as of the morning of the same day.
Cultural properties also suffered damage one after another, including the completely burned down Goun Temple, which represents the city.
