The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards "Gold" albums every month based on the cumulative volume of physical albums shipped.
Gold disc certification is awarded in various categories, such as "Gold" (100,000 copies), "Platinum" (250,000 copies), and "Double Platinum" (500,000 copies).
This marks the second consecutive Gold certification for TWS, following their first single "Last Bell."
Especially with their official Japanese debut coming up this summer, expectations are high for their future success.
"US" is an album that tells the story of youth who bravely takes on new challenges.
"TWS" conveys the bright and energetic energy of 20-year-olds through the title song "Isn't it nice to run with your heart?" and has become a big hit both in Korea and abroad.
The album has been receiving a lot of love. In fact, the album ranked 2nd in the "Weekly Album Ranking" and "Weekly Overall Album Ranking" (May 5th) announced by Oricon Japan, and 1st in the "Billboard Japan"
They were ranked 5th on the Hot Albums chart (April 30th) of the year. They swept all the trophies on music shows in Korea, winning a total of 6 awards, becoming the first 5th generation boy group to do so.
Meanwhile, TWS released their Japanese debut single "Hajimemashite" on July 2nd and began full-scale activities in Japan.
"Nice to Meet You" is a song that makes you feel a special thrill in your daily life, like a glittering summer memory, and contains the refreshing charm of the six members.
A total of three songs will be recorded, including a Japanese original song.
