BTS' V surpasses 20 million followers on Spotify... the first K-pop solo artist to do so

BTS's V has surpassed 20 million followers on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, becoming the number one K-POP solo artist.
As of October 5th, V has 20,011,760 followers on Spotify, making him the first K-POP solo artist to surpass 20 million followers.
This is the highest record for a K-POP solo artist, and ranks fourth among all K-POP groups and solo artists combined.
The songs credited to V's Spotify profile are a total of 16 songs, including the recordings from his first solo album "Layover," the OST for the TV series, and V's own compositions.
The album has recorded a total of 5.18 billion streams. "Layover" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the main album chart of the US Billboard.
He also set a new record as the highest-ranking K-pop solo artist, and became the first K-pop solo artist to have all of his albums reach 100 million streams.
V is the first K-pop solo artist to have his albums on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global (Excluding the US) 200 charts.
In the US, he became the first Asian solo artist to have all tracks from his album sell over 100,000 units, overwhelmingly achieving the feat.
