On the 3rd, SK Jewon, Sung Si Kyung's agency, stated: "It has been confirmed that Sung Si Kyung's former manager engaged in acts that betrayed the company's trust during the course of his duties while employed."

It continued, "Following an internal investigation, we recognise the seriousness of the matter and are currently confirming the precise extent of the damage," adding that the former manager has left the company.

Finally, it stated, "We deeply recognise our responsibility for management and supervision, and are currently overhauling our internal management systems to prevent similar incidents from recurring."

Meanwhile, Sung Si Kyung has terminated his contract with his former manager, with whom he had worked for over ten years. Reports subsequently emerged confirming that this resulted in financial damage to the company.
