South Korean low-cost airline Air Seoul announced on the 13th that it will expand its Seoul (Incheon/Incheon) - Tokyo (Narita) route in preparation for the busy winter season.
Air Seoul will shorten its Tokyo route every week from January 1, 2024 to March 28, 2024, in consideration of increased demand in Japan, including families traveling on vacation.
Flights will be increased from 21 to 23. A total of 26 additional flights will be operated during the applicable period, further expanding the range of schedule options. To commemorate the increase in flights, we will also be holding a special event on air tickets. Discount flights to Tokyo on a first-come, first-served basis
Air tickets cost a total of 131,000 won (approximately 14,455 yen) one-way, including fuel surcharges and airport facility usage fees, and the flight period is from December 20th to March 30th next year.
Air Seoul is the only Korean airline to partner with Japan's Keisei Group, allowing Air Seoul passengers to enjoy discounts on the Skyliner express train, the fastest way to reach Tokyo.
An Air Seoul official said, ``Due to the continued depreciation of the yen, the reservation rate for Japan routes has remained steadily high, and we have decided to increase flights to Tokyo.'' ``We will operate routes that take demand into consideration, and we will continue to improve customer convenience.''
