Whiteout: 17 Years of Records," which will begin airing on ENA on the 22nd of this month, is an expedition, healing, and human interest documentary about the solo South Pole expedition of Captain Kim Young-mi (a member of THE NORTH FACE athlete team), the first Asian woman to do so and the first Korean woman to do so.
Lee Joon-ho will narrate the entire two-part documentary, introducing the challenge of Captain Kim Young-mi and the Korean mountain world to viewers. Captain Kim Young-mi left West Hakkuris Inlet in Antarctica on November 27, 2011, and traveled 1,130 km alone for 51 days, pulling a sled weighing over 100 kg. Captain Kim Young-mi was the first Korean to reach the South Pole on foot without supplies.
The documentary "Whiteout: 17 Years of Recordings," which includes Lee Juno's honey-sweet voice, will be aired on the 22nd and 29th of this month at 11 p.m. on the ENA channel.
