According to the police on August 27, they received a report at around 10:12 a.m. that day that "her husband had left the house after writing what appeared to be a suicide note."
Police then found Lee Sung Kyun unconscious in a car parked in Wanryong (Garyong) Park in Seoul at around 10:30 a.m. There was an ignited charcoal in the passenger seat.
The police presume that he committed suicide and plan to investigate the details.
