'SEVENTEEN' S.COUPS judged to be class 5 wartime labor due to knee injury

The results of the military service judgement test for S.COUPS, the leader of Korean boy group SEVENTEEN, have been released.

　On the 1st, according to his agency PLEDIS Entertainment, S.COUPS received a Grade 5 wartime service judgement as a result of his military service judgement inspection. Wartime service is not conscripted during peacetime. They are called up only in time of war and deployed for military support duties. In effect, it is an exemption from military service.

　Prior to this, S.COUPS injured his left knee during a ball game event for content filming last August and underwent surgery.

　His agency said, "S.COUPS underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery and anterior lateral ligament reconstruction surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee joint. Because it was a major surgery, he has been undergoing rehabilitation treatment for a long period of time from last year to the present" and explained that "as a result, he was judged to be class 5".

　As for the theory of SEVENTEEN's comeback in April, which was raised on the same day, the group stated that they "will officially announce the specific comeback date in the future".
