It was reported that Areum from South Korean girl group T-ARA attempted suicide.

According to the entertainment media outlet OSEN on the 27th, Areum attempted suicide earlier in the day and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Areum married an older businessman in 2019 and had two sons. Earlier, in December last year, Areum informed the public of the fact that she was in divorce proceedings with her husband and that she had a girlfriend who was planning to remarry.
