Police were rushed to the center of the South Korean city of Gwangju after a report of the North Korean People's Army appearing, but it turned out to be a mistake.
At around 5:50 pm on the 5th, the Gwangju North Police Station received a report that "a person dressed in North Korean People's Army uniform was walking on a street in northern Gwangju."
When the police were dispatched, they saw a passerby named Mr. A wearing a dark navy blue coat and a leather belt worn diagonally from his shoulders to his waist.
In particular, the fur hat worn by Mr. A was similar to those worn by North Korean soldiers in winter.
Therefore, it was determined that the caller had made a mistake. After investigating the scene, the police determined that there was no evidence that Mr. A was guilty of any crime and withdrew from the scene.
A police official said, "There was a clear difference between the uniforms worn by North Korean soldiers, but they were not ordinary clothes.
