According to the management office on the 10th, Ryu Jun Yeol will be working on the special exhibition room at the National Palace Museum and the Cleveland Museum of Art in the United States.
He participated in the narration of the exhibition "Little Geumgang, Walking to Shippo Mountain: A Digital Video Exhibit of the Shippo Mountain Screen from the Cleveland Museum of Art," which was being shown at the museum, and was awarded a plaque of appreciation by the Cultural Heritage Administration.
The “Chilbogsan Screen” is a painting depicting the spectacular scenery of the Chilbogsan area in Myeongcheon, North Hamgyong Province.
The exhibition, which is being held simultaneously in both Korea and the United States, was organized by the Cleveland Museum of Art in the United States.
The museum's collection of "Mt. Chilbo Screen" has been transformed into immersive content using digital technology, and Ryu Jun Yeol portrays the protagonist Lim Hyung-soo of Kumho, who explores Mt. Chilbo.
The exhibition is the first digital content production project for overseas cultural heritage promoted by the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Overseas Cultural Heritage Foundation.
This plaque has a special meaning in that Korea and the United States share the same values. In particular, the plaque was presented to Ryu Jun Yeol, who participated in the exhibition explanation and Yu Yun, who participated in the music production, in the form of a talent donation from the Cultural Heritage Administration.
The award was presented in special recognition of the contributions of composer Yang Bang Un, who also participated in the production of the film. Ryu Jun Yeol is currently in the middle of filming his next movie.
