"In the June 1 local elections in 2022, a public servant in charge of voting was killed in the line of duty," he said. "To prevent further deaths, we will take measures to improve election administration, such as shortening voting hours to eight hours."
"The government amended the law to guarantee breaks for public servants working on election-related work ahead of the early voting, but the government has not given up on the right to rest," he said.
