TV Series ”Parasyte: The Gray” Ranks #1 on Netflix in Non-English Regions...Kim Soo Hyun's ”Queen of Tears” Ranks #2

The drama Parasite The Grey, directed by Yong Sang-ho of the film New Infect and the drama Hell, became the most-watched Netflix non-English-speaking series in the world.

The romantic comedy drama Queen of Tears, starring actors Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, which ranked first in the previous survey, recorded second place.

On the 10th, according to Netflix, 'Parasites the Grey' recorded 6.3 million views (Views, divided by playing time) from the first to seventh of this month, ranking first in the non-English-speaking TV series category. It ranked in the top 10 in all 68 countries and was ranked No. 1 in eight countries, including South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia and Bolivia.

The drama 'Parasites the Grey' is a spin-off based on the world of the manga 'Parasite', which won the 1997 Nebula Award for Comics, an award for Japanese science fiction. It deals with the events that occur when mysterious parasitic creatures take control of human bodies.

Actor Jung Son-hee plays Jung Soo-in, whose body is partially controlled by the parasites. Koo Gyo-hwan played the role of Seol Gang-woo, an organised gangster who goes in search of his missing sister.

Queen of Tears, which recorded second place, placed its name in the top 10 for five consecutive weeks. The reality show 'Physical: 100 Season 2 Underground', which was No. 1 in its first week of release, was No. 4.
