The movie ”The Outlaws 4” exceeds 100,000 advance ticket sales 10 days before its release... ”Heat up” for ”triple 10 million box office hit”

The movie "The Outlaws 4," starring actors Ma Dong Seok and Kim Moo Yul, has surpassed 100,000 presales and recorded the highest presale rate overall with 10 days to go until its release, becoming the second movie to sell 10 million tickets after "The Tomb of the Dead."
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated cinema ticketing computer network on the afternoon of the 14th, the presale sales for "The Outlaws 4" reached 108,810 people just 10 days before the release, overwhelming the overall sales.
It has risen to the top in terms of advance ticket sales, with 65.2% of pre-sale tickets sold. This is the second and third installment of the series, "The Roundup 2" and "The Roundup 3", which both attracted over 10 million viewers.
This is faster than the advance ticket sales record for "No Way Out 3." The foreign film "The Stuntman," starring Ryan Gosling, recorded the second highest advance ticket sales rate with 9,537 tickets.
This is more than 10 times the figure. Meanwhile, the animated film "Kung Fu Panda 4" has already started to decline after surpassing 430,000 cumulative viewers in its opening score on the 10th.
"Kung Fu Panda 4" ranked third in advance ticket sales, behind "The Outlaws 4" and "The Stuntman." Advance ticket sales were 7,499.
"The Outlaws 4" is about the monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok) and the villain Baek Chang-gi, a special mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization.
The story depicts the relationship between the two men, Jang Yi Soo (played by Kim Moo Yul) and Jang Dong Cheol (played by Lee Dong Hwi), a genius CEO of the IT industry, as they set out to eradicate crime.
This is the fourth in the "The Outlaws" series, and director Heo Myung-haen, who previously served as martial arts director for the "The Outlaws" series, will be directing the Netflix film "The Wilderness" alongside Ma Dong Seok.
The "Crime City" series has been a success, with "The Outlaws 2" and "The Outlaws 3" featuring Son Sukku and Lee Jun-hyuk as second and third generation villains, respectively, and the pandemic and Korean film industry.
It overcame a film crisis and made a name for itself as a double million dollar film. It has since firmly established itself as one of the leading action franchises in Korean cinema.
"Crime City 4" has been highly praised as a hit, receiving the highest rating in the entire series in an internal blind screening even before its release.
It has received positive reviews for its entertainment value as well as its artistic quality. In February of this year, it became the first Korean series to be invited to the Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world's three major film festivals, and excited audiences around the world.
There is a lot of expectation. After the first Korean film of the year, "The Tomb of the Dead," which made 10 million yen, ended, the mood in April was calm in the theater district, but the question is whether "The Outlaws 4" will be able to change the mood again and make it even bigger.
With its expanded scale and action, attention is focused on whether it will take theaters by storm this year. "The Outlaws 4" will be released on the 24th and will be unveiled today at a press preview on the 15th.
