Director Bong Junho confessed that he is a fan of the "Mad Max" series.
Saga held a special GV in Korea with directors George Miller and Bong JUNHO, who made a surprise visit to Korea on the 14th.
When asked about his impressions of meeting director Bong Junho, with whom he has a variety of connections, director George Miller said, "I learned a lot about Korea.
Listen, I know very well how much Korean audiences love movies. I edited the film Mad Max: Furiosa that I just showed you, and I learned from director Bong Joon-ho."
When asked about his impressions after watching the footage of "Mad Max: Furiosa," director Bong JUNHO said, "It goes without saying. It's overwhelming.
"It was so exciting. I think inviting the director to come and watch these images is the most cinematic, exciting thing about cinema itself," he said, speaking for the audience.
Director Bong JUNHO, who revealed that he is a big fan of the "Mad Max" series, said, "I was impressed by the unstoppable speed of "Mad Max 2."
I was completely fascinated by the running, the sense of speed, and the action, so I thought a lot about that feeling when I was shooting the movie Snowpiercer. I don't know anyone who can express the energy of such rampage so well.
"I think the only person who could do it is George Miller," he said enthusiastically. Unlike "Mad Max: Fury Road," which depicts a story that takes place over just three days, "Mad Max: Furiosa
"The Last Jedi" depicts the 18 years of the female warrior Furiosa's childhood. When asked what the differences are, director George Miller said, "I used all the devices to show the passage of time to the audience.
I tried to distinguish important moments when the character develops over time and how she is affected by the world around her.
"The character's true nature is depicted in these parts," he explained. Finally, the character "Red" left a strong impression in "Mad Max: Fury Road."
When asked if the "Guitar Man in a Suit" character would appear again, director George Miller made a surprising statement, saying, "You can see him. You'll probably see Max somewhere, too."
The film received an enthusiastic response from the audience. 45 years after civilization collapsed, Furiosa is thrown into a devastated world and goes on an epic journey to find her way home while overcoming many challenges.
The blockbuster "Mad Max: Furiosa" is scheduled to be released in Japan this May.
