A YouTuber with 5.5 million subscribers plans to build an Islamic temple in Incheon, South Korea

A Muslim YouTuber with 5.52 million subscribers has announced plans to build an Islamic temple in Jung-gu, Incheon.
The company announced that it had purchased a plot of land measuring 284.4 square meters (86 tsubo) in the vicinity of Yeongjong Station in Unbuk-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
Mr. A said, "Thanks to your support, we have secured a land contract to build a mosque in Incheon.
"We have signed an agreement. We will build a mosque here and also set up a podcast studio for Da'wah activities (Islamic evangelism) for Koreans," he said.
He added, "There will be many difficulties, but I believe we can do it. I hope that every city in Korea will have beautiful Azan (Azan - Islamic shrines) ringing out."
"I will do my best until the bell is filled with the sound of the bell," he said. There are many schools in the area around the land purchased by Mr. A, so opposition from some residents is expected.
Lim International Student attempted to build a large mosque in Buk-gu, Daegu, but it has remained unfinished for four years due to opposition from local residents. However, under current law, it is not possible to prohibit the construction of religious facilities.
