Netflix's CASHERO is a superhero story about Kang Sang-woong, an ordinary civil servant who gains a superpower that makes him stronger the more cash he has in his hand, and uses his monthly salary to save the world. Based on the popular Kakao web comic of the same name, the film promises the birth of a new hero who has nothing but humanity in a world where money has become power.
In CASHERO, which boasts an unimaginably innovative storyline, Lee Jun-ho takes on the role of Kang Sang-eun, a realistic character. He transforms into Kang Sang-woong, a civil servant at an ordinary community center who dreams of buying his own home, and accidentally inherits a superpower that does not fit into his income and expenditure calculations, and he plans to dynamically depict how his life changes 180 degrees. The film will focus on lead actor Lee Jun-ho's portrayal of Kang Sang-eun, who lives in a wonderful reality where he can use his psychic powers only for the amount of cash he holds in his hand, but if he uses it, he will run out of money.
The new Netflix series CASHERO, which is receiving high interest from fans in Korea and abroad, is directed by Lee Chang-min, who directed the dramas Agency and Ulatcha Waikiki, and Lee Jae-in and Jung Chang-ho, who were recognized for their solid writing skills in the drama Seeshpos: The Myth. The scriptwriters hit it off. Here, the acting heroes of the film, led by Lee Jun-ho, Kim Hye-jung, Kim Byung-chul, and Kim Hyang-gi, are gathered together.
CASHERO, starring Lee Jun-ho, will be released on Netflix.
