”Fatherland Reform Party Chairman Cho Kuk has double standards? We will break the prejudice”... See the five photos released by the Chief of Staff = South Korea
Cho Young-woo, chief secretary to Cho Kuk, chairman of the Fatherland Reform Party, released five photos to dispel prejudice against Cho. These were taken recently when the Fatherland Reform Party was using business class on domestic flights.
When the government passed a resolution to ban Cho from flying on planes, ruling party lawmaker Kim Woong pointed out, "Earlier this month, Chairman Cho Kuk flew in business class. This is double standard."
This is a rebuttal to the above, and is interpreted as meaning that Chairman Cho will handle personal matters himself and maintain proper etiquette.
On the 17th, Director Cho Young-woo posted on social media, "Some media and far-right YouTubers, etc.
"We have prepared this for those who still harbor unfair prejudices against Chairman Cho Kuk due to the witch hunt carried out by the group."
In the photo released by Director Cho Young-woo, he was seen picking up a garbage bag from his home before arriving to work.
The photos showed Cho Kuk throwing out food and bringing his own (meal) tray at what appeared to be a service area. He was also seen waiting in line before boarding the train and chatting with a child.
In the commemorative photo, he even knelt on one knee to make sure everyone was on eye level. Director Cho Young-woo said, "Those who say this is a staged photo should just keep thinking of it that way.
I have been coming to work at Cho Kuk's house every morning for over two months, but sometimes in the morning, Cho Kuk comes out of his house with garbage and other items, but he never hands them over to me or to his accompanying secretary.
" He continued, "When I eat at a service area, I have never asked someone else to bring my tray for me, and I have a business class ticket and line up in economy class. I am a germaphobe.
"At least I will not serve someone who does not have the character or dignity to which I can respect. I am not someone who is obsessed with power for the sake of a living," Cho Young-woo said.
In particular, he was accused of "double-standing" by ruling party lawmakers who flew business class on a visit to Jeju ahead of the 22nd general election.
Regarding the criticism that he was 'in a bad mood', he explained, "I couldn't get a seat so I had to hurry and book and end up in business class."
