President Yoon's approval rating falls below 30%... Will the national government reform be successful? = South Korea
The Yoon administration has been struggling since its defeat in the April 10 general election in South Korea. A public opinion poll even showed that President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating had fallen below 30%, the lowest since he took office.
Sensing a sense of crisis, President Yoon teased a major personnel reshuffle and even proposed a meeting with Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party, raising interest in whether he will be successful in overhauling national politics.

The results of the National Survey of South Koreans (NBS), released on the 18th, also showed that 27% of respondents had a positive view of President Yoon's job performance, while 64% had a negative view.
According to a survey conducted by NPR, K-Stat Research, Korea Research, and Hankook Research over the three weeks of April (April 15-17), the positive evaluation was about 11% higher than the previous survey (April 1 week).
The survey also showed a sharp decline in confidence in President Yoon's management of state affairs, with only 31% saying they "trust" President Yoon's management of state affairs, and 50% saying they "do not trust" him.
