Choi Min-seok, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Korea, said in a written briefing on the same day, "President Yoon really communicated with the public through the press conference for the second anniversary of his inauguration.
"If he wants to do so, he should clearly state that he will accept the bill to investigate Kim's wife and the bill to investigate Corporal Choi," Choi said.
"I reaffirm the president's incommunicado status. This press conference must be a place to faithfully answer the questions that the public has been piling up over the past two years."
He also said, "In the KBS interview, 'The Promised Conversation,' he said, '(Mrs. Kim) casually received (the designer bag)'.
"The explanation doesn't make sense anymore. If they try to avoid answering by obfuscating the true nature of the issue again, it will only inflame the public's anger."
He continued, "President Yoon has fully accepted the will of the people in the general election, including accepting the special prosecution law for Mrs. Kim and the special prosecution law for Corporal Choi.
Meanwhile, Kang Mi-jung, spokesperson for the Fatherland Reform Party, also commented to President Yoon, "The Special Prosecutor's Law and Kim Kuon-hee
"I hope that President Yoon will prepare his thoughts on the various allegations against his wife and measures to restore people's livelihood," he said.
"85% of what was said was left undisclosed. This time, I recommend that you answer the questions from the media concisely and to the core."
