XIUMIN, MC of idol survival show ”MA1”: ”I'm not a finished product either... I'll show you my progress”

XIUMIN (XIUMIN), a member of the boy group EXO, shared his thoughts and determination about taking on the role of MC on an idol survival program.
On the 8th, XIUMIN participated in the "MAKE MATE" event held at the KBS New Building Wedding Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.
At the press conference for "MA1" (hereafter "MA1"), he said, "After I recently finished filming the TV series, I suddenly felt that I really wanted to do a regular variety show."
He said, "I was offered the role of MC at the time, so I said I would do it without any hesitation and with a feeling of gratitude."

When asked what advice he would like to give to the participants, he said, "It was wonderful to see the participants enjoying the stage. I hope you will continue to enjoy it.
"If you can show your true colors, the viewers will enjoy it, so please don't lose that feeling." Meanwhile, "MA1" is a program that depicts the process of selecting members for a boy band.
It is attracting attention as the first new idol survival program to be launched by BS in about six years. The name of the program is "MAKE the stage you've always dreamed of with your friends (MATE) and ONE (ONE)".
The title contains the meaning of "Time to become a better person." It will be broadcast in Korea every Wednesday at 10:10 pm starting from May 15th.
