Singer Kim Ho Joong, who has been the subject of controversy due to his drunk driving hit-and-run controversy, will be performing at the World Union Orchestra Super Classic: Kim Ho Joong & Prima
Super Classic announced this on the afternoon of the 23rd through their advance ticket page.
In a statement, Super Classic explained, "Kim Ho Joong, one of the existing cast members, will not be participating in the performance on the 24th, but the other cast members will perform as normal."
They added, "Those who wish to cancel their advance tickets due to changes in the cast can do so until 8 p.m. on the 24th and will receive a full refund."
At the same time, they stated, "We would like to once again sincerely apologize to our spectators for the inconvenience caused. We ask for your understanding."
"Super Classic" is a two-day concert featuring Kim Ho Joong and members of the world's four major orchestras. It will be held from the 23rd to the 24th.
Kim Ho Joong announced through his management office THINK Entertainment the day before that he would be taking a break from activities after this concert and taking some time to self-isolate before undergoing police investigation.
In the meantime, the pre-arrest hearing (warrant review) was scheduled for noon on the 24th, and Kim Ho Joong's side applied for a postponement, but the court did not accept it.
As a result, today's (23rd) performance is expected to be Kim Ho Joong's last performance before he goes into self-restraint.
