International flight between China and Bahrain launched: First flight arrives in Shanghai - Chinese media

The first direct flight between China and Bahrain was officially launched on the 29th. Flight GF124, operated by Bahrain's national airline Gulf Air, departed Bahrain at 11:50 a.m. on the 29th.
The flight arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport from Manama, the capital of Bahrain. This is the first direct flight between China and Bahrain. The opening of the new route will attract more Chinese tourists to Bahrain.
Gulf Air will also provide efficient and convenient transfer services at the airport for Chinese tourists travelling through Bahrain to other regions.
The company said it will be able to complete the transfer in as little as 40 minutes. The company also plans to operate flights to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in the future.
