The joint committee between the two countries is a ministerial-level consultative body that has existed for 30 years since its establishment in 1994, with the Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade jointly serving as chief representatives.
The meeting will be attended by relevant ministries and agencies on the agenda. This is the first time the meeting has been held in three years since the one held in Seoul in November 2021.
