Jisung's TV series ”Connection” breaks record with highest viewership rating of 9.5%

SBS drama ‘Connection’ has completed the chaotic story of Ji Sung and Jung Mido causing shock alerts from the start of their joint investigation.

The 4th episode of SBS drama ‘Connection’, which aired on the 1st, recorded 8.2% in the metropolitan area, 7.9% nationwide and a high of 9.8% on the Nielsen Korea basis, breaking its own highest rating and firmly defending the Saturday miniseries crown for the second consecutive week. 2049 rating of 2.7% ranked first in the same time slot for the fourth consecutive episode, as well as first overall on Saturday. It also ranked first for the entire Saturday broadcast.

In this episode, Jang Jae-kyeong (Ji-sung) collapsed after grabbing ‘lemon pong’ that he had ingested, and the situation and Oh Yoon-jin (Jung Mido) received information about another medical case, which unfolded in an unpredictable way.

After sending Jae-kyung to the police station, Yoon-jin received a message on his own mobile phone stating ‘Death on 11 September 2023, Eunjung Medical Centre medication accident related to Ms Park Bong-rae’. The message contained an ‘ODP file’, which raised questions.

After Jae-kyung passed out while reaching in to get the zip pack held by ‘Lemon Pong’, she realised in the toilet and despaired, thinking she had been drugged. He was relieved when he saw no evidence of his own disturbance on the CCTV in the office.

Jae-kyung becomes suspicious when she realises that her junior colleague Kim Chang-su (Jeong Jae-kwan) has viewed the CCTV without any records and has seen her own wrecking at the emergency centre.

Oh Soo-hyun (Seo Il-ah) and Kim Chang-jun learn that a ‘lemon pong’ tablet is missing and report the loss to Jae-kyung. Jae-kyung instructs them to ‘then rewrite the investigation record to say that the evidence was not there from the beginning’, aiming to destroy the evidence.

Jae-kyong again visits the foreman of the construction site where Park Joon-soo (Yoon Nam) died, who gives in to Jae-kyong's persistence and tells him that the hole was made for the workers' convenience when they went to eat. Hyun-jae confirmed that there was CCTV in the rice mill near the blocked hole and requested the Lord to provide it.
