Cho Kuk, aka "Onion Man," former South Korean justice minister and head of the Fatherland Reform Party, said, "I'm really worried that the relationship between North and South Korea will go beyond verbal attacks and move towards physical violence."
Cho criticized the North Korea policy of the Yun Seok-yeol administration. On the afternoon of the 4th, Cho posted on his SNS, "Today, the government held a Cabinet meeting and announced the withdrawal of the 9th National Security Council, which had been playing the role of a safety pin for inter-Korean peace.
"The North Korean government will launch filthy balloons, and the South Korean government may restart anti-North Korea loudspeakers after distributing anti-North Korea leaflets," Cho said.
"I am worried that the Yoon administration's incompetent, one-sided, hostile policy toward North Korea could lead to the outbreak of a local war," he said. "We must find a role for the National Assembly," he added, "I am concerned that the role of the National Assembly will be important for the remaining term of President Yoon's term.
"Three years is too long," he wrote, "and within that time, South Korea's domestic and foreign affairs, as well as inter-Korean relations, will reach their worst.
