Actor Seo Kang Joon is returning. He has been confirmed as the lead character in MBC's new Friday-Sat TV series "Undercover High School" (tentative title) which will premiere in the first half of 2025.
This will be Seo Kang Joon's first appearance in an MBC TV series in 10 years since "The Splendid Politician." "Undercover High School," a 12-part series by MBC, is a story about the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold.
It is a comic action drama that depicts the chaotic adventures of a National Intelligence Service agent who hides his identity and goes undercover as a high school student to pursue a suspect.
He plays the protagonist Jung Hye Seong. He is an ace agent of the National Intelligence Service, but is demoted after causing a major accident during a mission. After that, he becomes a student at a high school that is connected to Emperor Gojong's gold.
He is sent to a counterfeit infiltration operation and enjoys high school life. The script for "Undercover High School" is by the same person who wrote the TV series "Sketch ~ The Future Teased by God ~" and "Serious Battle"
The writer is Lim Youngbin, who has been loved by many for his compelling story development and writing skills, and the director is Choi Jung-in, who worked on "Office Survival" and "Flowers that Bloom in the Night."
