Seo Kang Joon, ”Military service? It was never fun for a single moment... I remember it being cold and painful.”

Actor Seo Kang-Joon shared anecdotes from his military service.

When asked, "Which character did you like to play?" Seo Kang Joon replied, "The characters in the TV series are made by taking a small piece of myself.
"I used to answer that they were all characters, but looking back, that wasn't the case. All the characters are pieces of me. When I'm working on a project, I become the closest to that character," he said.
He also said, "Right now I'm filming 'Undercover High School,' so I'm a character called Hyesung. My personality is changing. When I do another project in the future, I'll use a small piece of myself in it, so
I think that person will be the character with the highest synchronization rate." He added. When asked if he had any interesting anecdotes from his time in the military, Seo Kang Joon said, "Even if it was just for a moment, it was funny.
I never really got into it. But I have fond memories of living in the military with my friends," he said, drawing laughter. "I'll tell you something I remember. I'll never forget the training in the harsh winter.
"I spent four nights and five days in temperatures between minus 13 and minus 14 degrees, and it made me realize that people can do things like this. I can't forget the cold and the painful memories," he said.
He also said, "We marched at night at the training center in temperatures of minus 22 degrees Celsius, and the moisture on my hat turned into icicles. It's a very shocking memory."
Seo Kang Joon also said, "When I look at the people I've become friends with, they're people who didn't approach me that much and didn't really pay me much attention. They accept me as I am.
When asked about a movie he recently watched that made an impression on him, he said, "When I'm filming a TV series, I don't watch movies at all," but added, "Recently, I've been watching a movie called '17-year-old's Medical Record.'
It reminds me of that movie very well."
