The company announced that it had donated 100 million won to help with recovery efforts following the forest fires in the areas of North Sangbuk-do, Gyeongnam-do, and Ulsan.
Choi Woo-shik said, "I lost my home in the forest fire and had a difficult time.
"I wanted to convey my heartfelt support, even if it's just a small donation, to those who are suffering," he said, adding, "I hope that all those affected will be able to return to their normal lives as soon as possible."
The donation will be used for practical recovery efforts, such as providing emergency assistance and relief items to residents affected by the wildfires. Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon said, "Choi Woo-shik's kind donation is a great help to us.
We are extremely grateful for the donations we receive," he said, adding, "The donations we receive will be put to good use to provide real relief to the affected residents and help them recover."
