Due to the positive reception, an encore performance will be held at the New National Theatre in Tokyo, Japan's top national theatre, from July 7th to 21st.
"Crash Landing on You" will be the first production based on the original novel to be performed at the New National Theatre in Tokyo. In November, "Crash Landing on You" will be performed by the Takarazuka Revue, which boasts a 110-year history in Japan, and will be introduced to Japanese audiences.
The Takarazuka Revue is a traditional Japanese musical theater company made up entirely of female performers, and enjoys an overwhelming audience not only in Japan but also around the world.
This is the second time that a Korean TV series has been exported to Takarazuka after "The Legend" in 2009.
The performances will run from November 30th to December 15th at Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL, and from December 22nd to 28th at the main hall of Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka.
