Just one day before the party's founding anniversary, the party announced that "the number of party members has been counted at 99,815,000 (as of December 31 of last year)." This is 1,144,000 more than in 2022 (1.2
%). Although the rate of increase in party members has declined slightly from the 1.4% expected in 2022, if the rate of increase this year remains in the 1% range, there is a high possibility that the number will surpass 100 million by the end of the year.
The breakdown by occupation is as follows: workers 6.7%, agricultural, livestock and fishing workers 26.3%, professional and technical personnel in companies, national agencies and social organizations 16.3%, and companies, national agencies, social organizations, etc.
The percentage of party members was 11.5% for managers and administrators, 7.7% for party and government agency workers, and 2.8% for students. The number of female party members was 30,185,000 (30.4%), and the number of ethnic minority party members was 7,592,000.
By age, 12.5% were under 30, 11.3% were between 31 and 35, 11.0% were between 36 and 40, 9.5% were between 41 and 45, and 9.5% were between 46 and 50.
