A man in his 60s brandished a weapon at an acquaintance and his daughter in an apartment complex in Busan, leaving one dead.

Police have launched an investigation into an incident that occurred in an apartment building in Busan, South Korea, in which a man in his 60s is believed to have brandished a weapon at a male acquaintance and his daughter.
According to the Busan Bukbu Police Station, on the 7th, at around 6:36 pm on the 5th, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, and a woman in her 40s, Mr. B, were killed at the entrance of an apartment complex in Gupo-dong, Buk-gu.
A man in his 20s, Mr. B, was found stabbed with a murder weapon and lying on the ground. A murder weapon believed to have been owned by Mr. A was found at the scene.
Mr. B, who was taken to the hospital, died, and Mr. A was seriously injured and is currently unconscious.
Police believe that Mr. A brandished the murder weapon at Mr. B, who had left the front door to go for a walk.
At the time, Mr. B's elementary school-aged child discovered his father collapsed in the entranceway.
After evacuating to his house, he called the fire department. Police believe that Mr. A attempted to take his own life after the crime. As a result of the investigation, it was discovered that Mr. A and Mr. B had been living together in the apartment complex at one time.
The only person living there was Mr. A, who had moved out. The police believe that they knew each other and are currently investigating the exact motive for the crime.
A police source said, "After calling the police, Mr. B's daughter realized that she had been injured with a weapon."
