『このろくでもない世界で』ソン・ジュンギ扮する裏社会の男の暗い瞳の奥に隠された悲しすぎる過去が明らかに…本編映像解禁
”In This Bad World” Song Joong Ki plays a man from the underworld whose sad past is hidden in his dark eyes... Full movie footage released
The Korean film "Falling in Love" by Hot Topic was officially selected for the 76th Cannes International Film Festival and the 28th Busan International Film Festival, and was nominated in four categories at the Baeksang Arts Awards, with Kim Hyun-seo winning the Best New Actress Award.
"LAND" and "HOPELESS" will be released nationwide at TOHO Cinemas Chanter and other theaters on Friday, July 26th under the Japanese title "In This Bad World."
The story revolves around an 18-year-old boy, Hong Xa Bin, who lives in poverty in a town where violence is rampant in a certain region, and Ji Gong (Song Won), a man from the underworld, who sees his own past self in the eyes of Hong Xa Bin's despair.
When these two wounded people cross paths, their destinies begin to move in an unexpected direction at breakneck speed.
The main footage has been released, revealing the sad past of Ji Gon as he grew up. The video begins with Ji Gon standing alone by the lake to pick up Yong Gyu, who had been asked by his boss to do a job for him.
As Yeong-gyu grows up in the lake, she begins to talk to herself about an accident that happened there a long time ago. "A man used to come here often, with his child. He would leave the child alone offshore. The man was in the lake.
"Just wait by the bank." The man had the boy catch food for the restaurant he was running while he drank alcohol. But one day, the boy went into the lake as usual and never came out. Chigon went further.
He continued, smoking a cigarette and occasionally looking over at Yong-gyu. "There was another fisherman. He had planned to sit there for a few hours until he caught a fish that day. But about five minutes later,
Then he felt a strong pull on his fishing rod and said, "This is a big one," and the man rejoiced and desperately pulled the fishing line. Occasionally, footage of Chigon making a "box" is inserted.
"The fisherman caught a small fish that was only a few centimeters long. 'That's ridiculous,' he said, as he fell into the water.
"I was shocked when I looked inside. The man had caught not a fish, but a child with a cut ear. I pulled it out, but the child was not breathing," he said, and the scene shifted to a close-up of the scar on Chigon's right ear.
It was none other than Chigon. The video ends with Chigon's monologue, in which he is seen from behind saying, "Even though I was dead... I spat out water and got up."
Just like Yeong-gyu, he was born and raised in a terrible family environment, picked up by an underworld boss and set foot in the world today.
After learning about Ji-gon's brutal childhood, where he ruthlessly does the "dirty work" without any personal feelings, Young-gyu makes up his mind and sinks deeper and deeper into a world where there is no turning back.
They are forced to make a certain decision... Will the sun ever shine on these two lonely souls who resonate with each other in this terrible world, even for just a moment? Find out for yourself at the theater.
