The South Korean polling agency Realmeter conducted a survey of 2,506 voters aged 18 and over from the 15th to the 19th of this month.
According to a survey conducted in the third week of July, President Yoon's approval rating was calculated to be 34.5%, up 2.2% from the previous survey. President Yoon's approval rating was 34.5% in the April 10th National Assembly general election.
Since the election, the approval rating had remained in the 20% to low 30% range, but it rose to the mid-30% range for the first time in about three months. Disapproval was down 2.2 percentage points from the previous survey to 61.6%.
Meanwhile, according to a survey conducted by Realmeter on the 18th and 19th of this month targeting 1,003 voters aged 18 and over, the ruling People's Power Party had 42.1% approval rating, while the Democratic Party had 33.2% approval rating.
The results were 4.1% higher than the previous survey, while the Democratic Party of Korea dropped 1.8%. This was followed by the Fatherland Reform Party at 9.3%, the New Reform Party at 5.0%, the New Future Party at 1.4%, and the Progressive Party at 0.
8% were in favor of a party affiliation, 1.3% were other, and 7.0% were independents.
