The 2024 Korea-Japan Exchange Student Program Support Project will support outstanding exchange students recommended by universities in Korea.
The project aims to strengthen educational exchanges between future generations of Japan and Korea and to expand mutual understanding and cooperation between the future generations of the two countries.
Sungshin Women's University will send 19 current students to 10 partner universities in Japan in the first semester of 2024.
As a result of this project selection, 29 students will be sent as exchange students to 14 Japanese partner universities in the second semester starting in September, a 50% increase from the first semester.
Lee Hyun-min, director of the International Cooperation Office, said, "The selection of this project is an opportunity to reaffirm the strength of Sungshin Women's University's exchange programs with Japan.
"We will continue to expand exchanges with overseas universities and do our best to strengthen the global skills of our students and internationalize our education," he said.
