The results of the vote for "Golf Empress" Park InBee (36) to become an IOC (International Olympic Committee) athlete committee member are expected to be announced on the 8th.
The Paris Olympic Organizing Committee held a press conference at the main press center in the Palais des Congrès de Paris in Paris, France on the afternoon of the 8th (local time).
The IOC Athletes' Commission election results and press conference will be held at the IOC's MPC on the 5th.
The four members of the IOC Athletes' Committee, including Korea Table Tennis Association President Kim Min, whose term is ending, will be selected by player vote.
Park InBee, who won 21 elections, was selected as the candidate representing South Korea last year after competing with shooter Jin Jeong-oh (currently a member of the National Assembly) and volleyball player Kim Yeon-Koung, and is running in this election.
Park InBee and 29 other athletes from around the world ran for office in this election.

If Park InBee is elected, she will be the third member of the IOC to represent South Korea, along with Lee Ki-hoon, chairman of the Korea Sports Council, and Kim Jae-yeol, president of the International Skating Union (ISU).
