VI (Seungri), a former member of the group "BIGBANG" who was imprisoned for his involvement in the Burning Sun incident and was released last year, will be attending a "Burning Sun" event in Indonesia.
According to the American K-pop media ALLKPOP on the 9th (local time), the event will be hosted by the event company TSV Management.
VI will be participating as a special guest at the Burning Sun Surabaya event, which is scheduled to be held on the 31st at the Gentlemen's Club in Surabaya, Indonesia.
TSV Management also released a special poster containing photos of VI. The poster is eye-catching as it includes VI's appearance during his time in BIGBANG.
Internet users are reacting coldly. They are shocked at the bizarre behavior of VI, who was sentenced to one year and six months in prison for the Burning Sun scandal that caused a public uproar, and instead of showing any remorse, he is now appearing in the event of the same name.
VI debuted in the group "BIGBANG" in 2006. In 2018, various allegations surrounding Club Burning Sun led to him being fired from "BIGBANG" in 2019.
VI served one year and six months in prison on nine charges including prostitution, professional embezzlement, and habitual gambling. He was released from Yeoju Prison in March last year after serving his full sentence.
Since his release, VI has been spotted in Southeast Asia, including Cambodia and Malaysia.
"I'm bringing GON here," he said, swaying to GD x TAEYANG's "GOOD BOY."
He also participated and sang BIGBANG's "BANG BANG BANG."
