「BTS」SUGA、警察側「移動経路確認し、すぐ召喚」
”BTS” SUGA, 500m drunk driving is true... Police say, ”We checked the route of travel and summoned him immediately, there was no request for a 'private appearance'”
Amid suspicions that SUGA of the South Korean boy group BTS drove an electric scooter while intoxicated, the police revealed that they had confirmed SUGA's route of travel.

At a regular press conference on the 12th, an official from the Seoul Police Department said, "We have retraced (SUGA's) route of movement from where the accident occurred," and added, "We have confirmed all the routes of movement, but the specific details are still under investigation and we would like to refrain from confirming and offering any information."

Earlier, in an official comment, SUGA's agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, explained that SUGA had used the expression "kickboard" instead of scooter and had travelled "about 500m", but questions were raised about this. It was confirmed that SUGA had passed in front of the IBK Corporate Bank Hannam-dong WM Centre before the accident, as the distance from this location to the accident site, Nine One Hannam, is 1.5 km on the road. On foot, the distance is 455 metres, but if one tries to cross the road, one has to cross a footbridge as there is no level crossing. Electric scooters are only allowed on the carriageway and bicycle paths.

As a result, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station is expected to summon SUGA at an early stage to investigate the circumstances of his drinking and the amount of alcohol he consumed. A police official stated that they are currently coordinating the timing of the summons with the suspect's side, but clarified that they have to summon the suspect for investigation as it is a criminal case.

As for the blood alcohol level being much higher than the revoked licence level, "I am aware that some media outlets have reported on the level", and that "it can be said that it is around the level of the revoked licence, but it is difficult to say exactly how much".

When asked whether SUGA had requested a "private appearance", he replied, "We have not been informed.

Meanwhile, in relation to the case against Min Hee-jin, the representative of ADOR, who is in dispute with HYBE over management rights, he stated that "there are documents and laptops submitted by both the accused and the accused, and forensics is in progress" and that "as soon as the forensics is finished, we will quickly analyse the documents". He continued, adding, "When it is finished, we will investigate the accused and others".
