警察の取り調べを控えた「BTS」SUGA、KBS出演規制は「未定」…飲酒運転波紋続く
BTS' SUGA, who is about to be questioned by police, will not be allowed to appear on KBS... Drunk Driving continues to cause controversy
The controversy continues after BTS member Suga was found drunk and had a blood alcohol level of 0.227% while driving an electric scooter.
It has been 10 days since the news of SUGA's drunk driving broke. On the 6th, SUGA was caught riding an electric scooter after drinking alcohol.
He collapsed on his way home, and the police who found him confirmed that he had been drinking and conducted a breathalyzer test, which revealed that his alcohol level was 0.227%, well above the 0.08% limit for license revocation.
After that, the surveillance camera footage and his movements were made public, causing a stir. Meanwhile, on the 16th, a KBS official said, "We have not yet decided whether to hold a committee to review Suga's broadcast appearance regulations."
According to the operating standards of the KBS Broadcast Appearance Restriction Review Committee, celebrities who have committed illegal acts or caused social problems are subject to the "suspension of appearance negotiations" depending on the severity of the offense.
SUGA was questioned by the police on suspicion of drunk driving.
Dowon was once banned by KBS for his role in Drunk Driving. Kim Sae Ron's blood alcohol content was 0.2% and Kwak Do Won's was 0.158%.
There is interest in whether SUGA, who recorded a higher number than the previous year, will also be banned from appearing. Currently, SUGA has been summoned by the police and is currently adjusting his schedule.
At 9 p.m. on the 6th, SUGA was drinking with acquaintances at a restaurant near Hannam Five-Way Intersection, and then moved to his personal studio nearby to drink alcohol. At around 11 p.m., his belongings that were left in the studio were found.
He was riding an electric scooter and trying to turn left toward the main gate of Nine One Hannam, where he lives, when he lost his balance and fell. He was then arrested by three riot police officers who were patrolling nearby.
Suga's drunk driving incident during his military service has also split BTS' fanbase. Some fans are calling for Suga to leave the group, while others are complaining that Suga is not doing his military service properly.
The repercussions are fierce, with allegations of arrogance also being raised.
