He collapsed on his way home, and the police who found him confirmed that he had been drinking and conducted a breathalyzer test, which revealed that his alcohol level was 0.227%, well above the 0.08% limit for license revocation.

According to the operating standards of the KBS Broadcast Appearance Restriction Review Committee, celebrities who have committed illegal acts or caused social problems are subject to the "suspension of appearance negotiations" depending on the severity of the offense.
SUGA was questioned by the police on suspicion of drunk driving.

He was riding an electric scooter and trying to turn left toward the main gate of Nine One Hannam, where he lives, when he lost his balance and fell. He was then arrested by three riot police officers who were patrolling nearby.
