Joint statement from the leaders of Japan, the United States and South Korea: ”Cooperation between the three countries is essential” and ”We are prepared to face enormous challenges”

On the 18th, the leaders of Japan, the United States, and South Korea issued a joint statement commemorating the progress made through cooperation to date, marking the first anniversary of the Camp David Tripartite Summit.
The leaders of Japan, the United States and South Korea issued a statement on the same day saying, "The spirit of the Japan-US-South Korea summit continues to inspire us, and the principles we established at Camp David remain the foundation of our nation.
"It's a roadmap for cooperation that we've never seen before," he said. "We are working together to achieve our common goal of advancing security and prosperity in the region and the world."
He continued, "We will uphold our consultative commitments in the face of regional challenges, provocations and threats affecting our common interests and security."
In particular, "Our three countries will strengthen security cooperation bound by the strong U.S.-ROK and U.S.-Japan alliances, further align our joint economic and technological priorities, and work to promote global health and
"We reaffirmed our determination to enhance cooperation to advance the initiative and further expand our strong people-to-people solidarity," he said.
"We are committed to maintaining peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region and will continue to support our common vision," he said.
