Police are investigating an incident in South Korea in which a man vomited and was taken to hospital after drinking mineral water delivered by a restaurant.
According to the police on the 19th, at a construction site in Deokgye-dong, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, "2 liters of mineral water was mixed with paint thinner.
When fire officials arrived, one man in his 40s had been vomiting and was taken to hospital, while another man in his 20s refused to go to hospital.
They were found to have developed symptoms after drinking bottled water delivered by the Chinese restaurant where they had ordered their meals.
Police investigated the Chinese restaurant, and the owner told police that he had picked up empty bottles with strange liquids in them at a recycling center and was recycling them.
The police and Yangju City Hall are analyzing the ingredients of the mineral water and are continuing their investigation by seizing and searching the Chinese restaurant.
