The first lawsuit filed by MUSIC against Park, the operator of the YouTube channel "Daldeok Concentration Camp," for damages worth 90 million won will be held on the 23rd.
The Seoul Western District Court, South Korea, Civil 12Exclusive filed a lawsuit against Park, the operator of the YouTube channel "Taldeok Camp," at around 10:10 a.m. on the same day.
The first hearing will be held for the lawsuit against V, Jung Kook, and Bighit Music, which demands 90 million won in damages from Park.
They have been spreading rumours about K-pop idols, including KOOK, and have been tormenting them continuously.
In June, MUSIC announced that it had filed charges against the "BTS" members, including those who posted defamatory, insulting, sexually harassing, spreading false facts, and malicious slanderous posts, and those who were involved in "Daldeok Camp."
It has been announced that civil and criminal lawsuits are being filed against the so-called "cyber wreckers." Member V also directly expressed his displeasure with the footage of the Taldeok concentration camp.
Earlier, Jang Won Young of the idol group "IVE" and management office STARSHIP Entertainment met with Park.
Park filed a lawsuit seeking damages and won the first trial. The court ruled that Park must pay 100 million won to Jang Won Young, plus interest on the delay. Park is currently in the process of appealing the decision.
Park is also on trial for allegedly defaming singer KANGDANIEL. At the trial held on the 12th, the prosecution sought a fine of 3 million won from Park.
In his statement, he said, "At the time, my thinking was foolish and I am sorry for the pain I have caused the victims."
