Civil Aviation Administration of China: Total number of passengers using ”Summer Travel” reaches 117 million - Chinese media

At a regular press conference held on the 23rd, the Civil Aviation Administration of China reported on the operation status of this year's "Summer Transport" (special summer transportation system).

On the 10th, passenger numbers reached 2.4514 million, the highest number of passengers in a single day on record. Domestic flights are operated between eight airports in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu.
The number of passengers on the 24 routes served by the airline is now 7,246,000. Meanwhile, the number of international flights is currently over 6,300 per week, up about 10% from the end of June.
Countries and regions close to China, such as the United States and Southeast Asia, are becoming popular destinations.
